Northwestern State defeated Stephen F. Austin to win the 2013 Southland Conference Tournament.

Shamir Davis was named Tournament MVP.

Davis was joined on the All-Tournament Team by teammate DeQuan Hicks, Stephen F. Austin's Taylor Smith and Desmond Haymon, and Sam Houston State's Darius Gatson.

Stephen F. Austin's Taylor Smith has been named the 2013 Southland Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year.

Joining Smith on the All-Southland First Team are Damen Bell-Holter and Warren Niles of Oral Roberts, Brandon Fortenberry of Southeastern Louisiana and Fred Hunter of Nicholls State.

Jalan West of Northwestern State has been named Freshman of the Year.
